ANTI-TWISTING GALVANIZED STEEL WIRE ROP

APPLICATION: Anti-twisting galvanised steel wire rope, braided from 8/12/18 steel strands of high tensile 

strength, is specially designed to serve as pulling rope in stringing of overhead power transmission lines. With it’s

half strands left lay and half strands right lay, it achieves stable non-rotating property in stringing operations; high

flexibility and homogeneous distribution of pressure between the elementary wires,and between strands increase 

efficiency during stringing operations. Hexagonal section of the rope, especially 18 stranded braided rope, is closer

to a circle and can reduce the chance of damage / tear and wear between the groove of bullwheel of puller and the   

rope when the rope is passing the bullwheel, for the contact area between groove and rope is larger.

APPLICATIONS: The reel stand made of welded steel tubes, is used to support & lift the steel tubular reel

wound with steel rope so as to provide required ground clearance during payout operation or winding operation

of steel rope. One side disc brake is provided
