DYNEEMA ROPE (for stringing application)

CHARACTERISTICS: Synthetic Rope braided from strands of Dyneema (PE-C)fibers have the properties of high tensile strength (same 

as that of steel wire rope having the equivalent diameter), high corrosion resistance, good tear & wear resistance,

excellent UV resistance, predominant insulating feature, low specific gravity (about 0.97) and light weight (15%

of that of steel wire rope).To make it more durable, PES mesh sock can be braided externally all over the internal 

core which is braided from 12/8 strands of Dyneema (PE-C) fibers and possess anti-twisting property so that the

internal core is well protected before the mesh sock is first broken.


APPLICATION:Used in port pulling, military activities, special shipping, ocean shipping, petroleum platform, power transmission

line construction, succor for railway, etc. 

In stringing work of power transmission line, 12 strand braided Dyneema rope (anti-twisting) with external PES

mesh sock is more popular though 3 strands or 8 strands structure are also available and applicable in other areas.
